Field Dictator Wins Wingham Cup This Commands Gelding was purchased by a few of our owners from the Gai Waterhouse stable. The time he arrived in Tuncurry Terry has had an opinion of him and it quickly showed on the track. After a few unlucky runs he won the Wingham Cup with an amazing final last furlong to break the track record. Since this win he has also had a very close up 2nd in the Old Bar Cup … another explosive last furlong … just missed. Congrats to Chris and the gang … they have a very nice horse on their hands with plenty of exciting times ahead. Another couple of mentions … The Half Hennessy Filly A Little Luck has been running very consistently over last month or so without any luck. Hopefully her name will ring true soon and the luck will turn her way. Miss January also is building nicely …. She had a great 3rd in Newcastle last Saturday and you guys should be keeping your eye on her. .................. Tuncurry Cup Meeting Not Far Away 13th March 2010 will see the second meeting at our great track. The Boxfish Restaurant near the bridge at Forster will be holding a cocktail party on Friday the 12th. We would love to see everyone there … although you will need to be quick as it is filling fast. Also thought we might mention that if you are planning to travel to Tuncurry for the Cup meeting in March we suggest you think about accommodation now as a lot of places have already booked out. The Inglis Classic Yearling Sale is coming up on the 24th & 25th of February …. Terry will be at this sale. If you are looking at buying a yearling or are interested in getting into one let Terry know before had and he would be happy to meet you at the sales. The Classic sale is one of the best value for money sales. ..................
